with Nicholas Kniel
We ran late on the shoot with Nicholas Kniel on Monday, and didn’t have time to clean, so I came in Tuesday morning to find the studio covered with feathers and bobby pins! (Such are the risks you take when photographing Nick’s unique visions.)
We hadn’t worked together for over two years, but it’s amazing how fast you can find your rhythm when you have a long-term creative relationship. Nick and I have been working together for almost seven years now; Puccini was the dog model for our first studio shoot, in a rented warehouse on Krog Street.
